Packed with Samson's proprietary R.A.M.P. (Reactive Alignment/Maximum Protection) DSP technology, the RSX112A delivers optimized audio performance. R.A.M.P. technology uses automatic EQ adjustments to overcome common issues that often plague traditional loudspeakers, such as masked high frequencies from horn reflections and muddy midrange from woofer surface reflections. On top of that, the RSX112A's crossover network uses Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filters and transducer time alignment algorithms to provide you with superb frequency balance. Finally, the RSX112A's integrated overcurrent and temperature sensors keep it cool, eliminating the need for noisy fans.

Its 1,600-watt Class D amplifier delivers sound with impressive clarity and definition, even when you crank it up. This is because the RSX112A's bi-amplified circuit divides your audio into ranges that are ideally suited for its individual drivers, ensuring that your high and low frequencies are able to pump and thump without distorting.

 

 

DSP controls and dual-angle positioning for versatile performance

 

The RSX112A's dedicated 2-channel mixer provides you with a Mic/Line switch on Channel 1, Volume controls for each channel, and a Master Volume for controlling your overall output level, so you can plug in your mic and guitar (or any other line-level source) while maintaining perfect control over your levels. An XLR line output gives you extra routing options for expanding your speaker setup. On top of that, you get a 3-position DSP EQ preset switch to shape your sound for speech, loudness, or flat response. Finally, the RSX112A supports dual-angle floor positioning for using it as a wedge monitor, as well as a built-in 1-3/8" mount for stand and satellite mounting.
