The A-49 automatically assigns all its controllers for full utilization with an external SuperNATURAL sound module like the INTEGRA-7. It also serves as a great second keyboard for controlling synthesizers with onboard SuperNATURAL sounds, such as the JUPITER-80 and JUPITER-50.

The A-49, designed for mobile use, is remarkably lightweight (less than six pounds/2.5 kilograms) yet strong, making it easy to lift and carry. Despite its streamlined design, it boasts a full-size, premium keyboard with 49 velocity-sensitive keys. For ultimate portable convenience, the A-49 draws power from your computer’s USB bus — no power cable or adapter required. It consumes a minimal amount of current, ideal for a USB bus-powered device.

The A-49 ensures tidy connections with its rear panel recess, allowing you to position a computer monitor or laptop optimally for music creation. Its two knobs, two switches, and D-BEAM controller are conveniently located and intelligently arranged, streamlining your workflow. Dedicated octave buttons provide instant key scale control, while a transpose button adjusts the scale in semitone increments, with LED indicators offering immediate visual feedback. The Function button grants access to additional tasks printed above the keyboard, all easily navigable using the keys.

In recent times, many musicians have turned to their Apple iPads for recording musical ideas. While small MIDI keyboards can be utilized with the iPad, the A-49 offers both professional playability and mobility.
